Bad Ideas
John and I watched the movie Fun With Dick and Jane tonight. That probably wasn't the brightest idea. I don't think it was meant to be an educational film.
Dick and Jane are living the good life. That is until Dick (Jim Carrey) loses his job shortly after getting a promotion that convinced his wife Jane (Téa Leoni) to quit her job. Unable to find work in an ugly market, and with no savings, pension, or home equity, Dick and Jane sink slowly into poverty. A foreclosure notice sends Dick and Jane over the edge, where they find that a hilarious life of crime pays the bills.
Halfway through the movie, John looks at me wide-eyed and says, "We probably shouldn't be watching this."

I've never seen this movie. I'm making Brian watch Juno with me, tonight, which he has never seen.
Isn't Jim Carrey in that movie? He doesn't exactly reek of intellectualism...
