Oops!

Wordless Wednesday was yesterday. Apparently, I accidentally went for the absolutely and completely wordless wednesday, as I posted exactly zero words the entire day.

I can't wait to regain my sanity...

I look and sound sick, too.

I walked into work on Thursday with a box of Puffs Plus ('cause my tender nose is a-hurtin') tissues and a declaration: "There are 72 tissues in this box. When I run out, I'm going home."

There were no arguments.

Almost...

JJ: Mommy, I have it, queese?

Marly: Do you mean please?

JJ: Queese, Mommy! Queese!

Marly (stutter-like): Puh-puh-puh please?

JJ: Puh-puh-puh... queese?

I must be doing something right.

For the most part, JJ is pretty good about going to bed. As of late however, he has started throwing about a 30-second temper tantrum (Yeah, I know - life's rough, Marly.) when I put him down. He usually cries and screams, "I no go night night! No, Mom! No night night!"

Tonight was special though, as he began crying and screaming, "I no go night night! No, thank you! No, thank you!"

Pay It Forward (aka - Wordfull Wednesday)

My friends Michelle and Kelly each posted this challenge. It sounds like fun and I'm going to play, too. After all, sometimes the best way to get out of a funk is to think about somebody else for a change. Wanna join me?

This is how it works...

The Rules

1. Be one of the first THREE (six for me, because I'm playing for two friends) bloggers to leave a comment on this post and you will receive a hand made gift from me during this year. When and what will be a surprise!

2. Winners, you must post this challenge on your blog, meaning that you will Pay It Forward, creating a handmade gift for the first THREE bloggers who leave a comment on YOUR post about this giveaway!

3. The gift that you send to your three friends can be from any price range and you have 365 days to make/ship your item. This means you should be willing to maintain your blog at least until you receive your gift and have shipped your gifts. And, remember: It’s the spirit and the thought that count!

4. When you receive your gift, please feel free to blog about it, sharing appropriate linky love! If you are not one of the top three (six for me) commenters on this post, you can still play along. Please take the button and post it on your blog to start your own Pay It Forward chain, and encourage your blogging friends to do the same!

There should be a law...

that you cannot experience a second illness until you have fully recuperated from the first illness.

Do you think writing to my congressperson would do any good?

Unasked Questions at the Grocery Store

1. Exactly what makes it okay for you to park in the fire lane instead of the parking lot?

2. Could you please hold your reunion someplace other than the doorway?

3. Will you please ask your child to stop taking things out of my cart?

4. Are you going to pay for that empty soda bottle you just left on a shelf?

5. Do you even realize that there are other people trying to get down this aisle?

6. Did you not see me standing in line in front of you, or did you just feel that you were in a bigger rush than me?
